This week's Latin Social Media Roundup stars Latina superstars Naya Rivera and Selena Gomez.

Rivera appeared as a co-host for the second time on the popular TV talk-show "The View" on Nov. 18. She showed her playful side in a fun dance-off with retired basketball player and "Inside the NBA" analyst Shaquille O'Neal.

"Had a blast on @TheView again today! Even got to Twerk it out a little with Shaq!" the 27-year-old actress tweeted from @NayaRivera proudly.

It's great to see Rivera not shying away from social media following her recent backlash from Kim Kardashian supporters after she commented on Instagram about her nude cover for Paper magazine. Rivera's social media drama began on Tuesday, Nov. 11, when she commented on Kardashian's butt-bearing photo, which the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star had shared with Instagram followers.

"I normally don't. But... you're someone's mother..." Rivera commented on Kardashian's Instagram post of the Paper magazine cover displaying her nude posterior.

The dissing of Kardashian on the photo-sharing app earned the "Glee" actress quite a backlash from Kim K fans, who leaped to her defense and slammed Rivera for being a long-time copycat.

Rivera did not respond immediately to the criticism, but broke her silence on Thursday, Nov. 13, when she shared a picture of herself with a hand over her mouth mocking regret and this appropriate hashtag caption: "#instagramgotmeintrouble." The photo of Rivera also features a man who knows all about Instagram trials and tribulations -- the app's founder Kevin Systrom, who is shown cuddled up to the actress with a grin.

Meanwhile, Gomez grabbed a top spot in Latina celebrity social media this week by belting out the chorus from Carrie Underwood's new song "Something in the Water" which was released this month as she and friend David Henrie drove in his car. Henrie is Gomez's former "Wizards of Waverly Place" co-star, and possibly her new love interest.

"@davidhenrie and I have spent many years driving and doing our sing alongs but we have to agree that we are pumped and proud of Carrie for releasing such a powerful song. #somethinginthewater #generationchange #davidcantsing," the 22-year-old pop star's caption says.

Instagram users "liked" seeing pop singer Gomez cover the country song. She garnered 769,000 likes and comments for her effort.
