Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt secretly married his entrepreneur girlfriend in a low-key ceremony in their home on Dec. 20, Vanity Fair reported.

Tasha McCauley is the co-founder and CEO of Fellow Robots, according to People.

The couple met through mutual friends and although she is not in the acting industry, she is very successful in her world.

Gordon-Levitt said in an interview about Tasha in the past, "I have a girlfriend but I tend not to really like to talk about it in public. The girl that I'm with, she really doesn't want to be a part of that."

Tasha speaks English, Spanish and Arabic and has a bachelor's degree from Bard College and a graduate certificate in robotics from Singularity University. She also has an MBA in International Business Education and Research from University of Southern California.

McCauley taught rapidly accelerating technologies, robotics and artificial intelligence at Singularity University.

Vocativ reported that Tasha is not the CEO of Fellow Robots because she is not listed on the website as such but found out that she did leave the company.

According to Tasha's LinkedIn profile, she is co-founder of Fellow Robots and the director of Business Development at GeoSim.

Her profile says she is an entrepreneur that lives in Lost Angeles and is also the director of the Ten to the Ninth Plus Foundation, which is an organization that focuses on empowering exponential technological change worldwide.

In a July 2014 interview with The Chicago Toy and Game Group, Tasha described herself as being "the sum of many inputs, mostly arts and sciences, which can make surprising collisions."

She said she approaches the unknown skeptically and optimistically. "I'm skeptical because I love pushing limits in order to understand how things really work. And I'm optimistic because, so far in my life, the unknown has revealed many wonderful possibilities."

Tasha enjoys building things and learning how things work.
