The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are the final two NFL teams remaining in the NFC as the NFL playoffs reach new levels of high stakes.

The Seahawks and Packers will battle it out this upcoming weekend in the NFC Championship game to determine who will play in the Super Bowl.

Although both teams are great, here's five reason why the Seahawks will come out with a win:

1. Legion of Boom

"Defense wins championships" is the oldest saying in sports, because it's true. This year's Seahawks squad is mimicking last year's team ranking No. 1 in both points allowed yards allowed.

Thanks to Richard Sherman and the "Legion of Boom" secondary, the Seahawks also have the best pass defense in the NFL. As good as Aaron Rodgers is, he won't have his way against the Seahawks secondary. On top of that, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb won't get open.

2. They Already Did

In Week 1 this season, the Seahawks defeated (and embarrassed) the Packers at home, 36-16. The Packers' offense only gained 255 total yards, and Rodgers never even once threw to Sherman's side of the field. Rodgers struggled throwing just one touchdown and one interception, which was picked off by Byron Maxwell. Mike McCarthy is a great head coach, but this is a terrible match-up for the Packers. The Cowboys (who beat the Seahawks in Week 6) would have been a better match-up against the Seahawks than the Packers.

3. 12th Man

It's hard enough to go up against the best defense in the NFL with star players like Maxwell, Sherman, Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas. But on top of that, opposing offenses have to battle the crowd noise that is the 12th man. Quarterbacks can't even hear their offensive coordinator, timeouts have to be called, turnovers are made, and thus, home-field advantage is achieved. The Seahawks are 8-1 this season when playing at home, whereas the Packers are just 4-4 on the road.

4. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers had himself quite a memorable performance against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Divisional round. Despite playing on a torn calf muscle, Rodgers willed his team to second half come from behind victory at Lambeau Field. That's nice and all, but the Seahawks aren't the Cowboys, and Lambeau Field isn't Century Link Field. Rodgers was limping against the Cowboys, and that's huge because mobility is a pivotal tool to Rodgers' arsenal. Rodgers had negative four yards rushing against the Cowboys, and he's now a complete one dimension quarterback in the pocket.

5. They're Just Better

Eddie Lacy is good running back, but Marshawn Lynch is elite. The Packers have a good defense, but the Seahawks have the best in the league. McCarthy has won a Super Bowl, but Pete Carroll has the more recent one and three football championships. Get the picture? When you combine everything else with home field advantage, the Seahawks are just a more complete and balanced football team. Despite having one of the best quarterbacks in the league, nearly everyone is still picking the Packers to lose. Russell Wilson has nine passing touchdowns and one interception in his postseason career.
