The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are the final two NFC teams remaining in the 2015 NFL playoffs.

On Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. EST the two teams will compete for the right to play in Super Bowl 49, and the high-powered Packers offense takes on the elite Seahawks defense in this must-watch game. 

Let's see who has the edge in this contest:

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks know they can beat the Packers, as they did so in Week 1, 36-16. This squad is looking to win their second consecutive Super Bowl with an elite defensive squad. Richard Sherman leads the "Legion of Boom" secondary into battle against the Packers' high-powered offense.

The Seahawks have the best defense in the NFL yet again this season. Pete Carroll's team has allowed the fewest yards, points, passing yards and passing touchdowns. Linebacker Bobby Wagner has been playing fantastic this season, and he gives the Seahawks an edge in the middle of the field.

Offensively, the Seahawks love to run it down your throat. With Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson, the Seahawks have the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL this season. Despite Wilson not being an elite drop back quarterback, he makes clutch throws and doesn't turn over the football.

Percy Harvin is no longer with the team, but Doug Baldwin had a terrific year with a team-leading 825 receiving yards.

The biggest thing to watch in this game is the Seahawks ground game. In Week 1 the Seahawks ran for 207 yards against the Packers defense, which ranks 23rd against the run. That may have been a long time ago, but the Seahawks game plan hasn't changed and the 12th man will be louder than ever.

Overall, the Seahawks have won 10 of their last 11 games.

Green Bay Packers

Trying to win the NFC over the Seahawks is the Packers. The Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC divisional round at Lambeau Field. This will be a much tougher task considering the competition and location, but this team can certainly pull the upset.

It won't be easy with All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers having a torn calf muscle. Rodgers is a mobile quarterback, but now he's going to have to make plays solely from the pocket. Last time Rodgers faced the Seahawks he never even once threw to Sherman's side of the field, and many NFL experts expect that to change on Sunday.

For the Packers to win this game, running back Eddie Lacy has to play great. Passing too many times against the Seahawks secondary will result in turnovers and low time of possession. Scoring early is critical for the Packers because they can't become victim to the crowd noise

If the Packers can't stop the run, they won't have a chance of beating the Seahawks, just like last time. The Packers have allowed more than 110 rushing yards against in three of the last four games. Similar to the Seahawks, the Packers have been red hot lately winning eight of their last nine games. A win here would put the Packers in the Super Bowl for the sixth time in franchise history.

Predictions

These are the top two seeds in the NFC, so it's no surprise either team is here. Unfortunately for the Packers, this is just a bad match-up for them. The Seahawks have a superior running game, an elite defense and home field advantage. Rodgers being hurt doesn't help things either. The Seahawks will advance to their second consecutive Super Bowl.
