Real-Life Human Barbie Dolls 2015: You'll Never Guess How Much Third Human Ken Doll Spends on Plastic Surgery
A flight attendant from London spent about $265,888 on plastic surgery in his attempt of being the new human Ken doll, Cosmopolitan reported.
Rodrigo Alves posted a picture to his Instagram page with the Ken doll pasted next to him.
"I never set out to look like the #kendoll it was a nick name given by my friends and the press which doesn't bother me at all," he captioned. "I just wanted to be a better person and I truly am #happy #plasticpositive #kendoll #kenhumano..."
Rodrigo had a series of procedures done including nose jobs, Botox, six-pack implants, calf-shaping and leg liposuction.
His latest procedure in Colombia cost him $75,981 for his fourth nose job, an eye operation, a toe operation to straighten them, liposuction and an incision in his mouth to give him a wider smile.
Doctors also took cartilage from his ear to pin back his nostrils then took fat that he gained and mixed it with his blood to inject into his face in order to reverse the effects of aging.
The first human Ken doll Justin Jedlica spent about $200,00 on plastic surgery procedures and the second, Celso Santebanes spent about $50,000.
"It doesn't define the man that I am -- I'm much more than silicone and cosmetic surgery -- but once you get started it's difficult to stop," Alves said. "I'm quite hard on myself and I'm scared of getting old -- that's the truth."
The second human ken doll, Brazilian model Celso, had a Celso doll made to look just like him after spending $50,000 on plastic surgery and not feeling happy with the results.
Russian woman Valeria Lukyanova is known for being the human Barbie, although others have gone through procedures before her, GQ reported.
She claimed that people try so hard to be beautiful with plastic surgery nowadays because of the race-mixing.
"For example, a Russian marries an Armenian," Valeria said. "They have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad's nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it's all good.
Human Barbie refers to herself as Amatue.
