The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will duke it out Sunday in the 2015 Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday.

Both of these teams were No. 1 seeds, and they have won a combined five Super Bowls in the 21st century. NFL fans won't get a Cinderella story this year, but a clashing of the elite teams. Both head coaches have won a Super Bowl and are widely considered the best in today's game.

Without further delay, let's preview the game and pick a winner:

New England Patriots

The Patriots were the best AFC team this season, thanks to a 12-4 record. In the postseason, the Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts with home field advantage. This will be the Patriots' sixth Super Bowl appearance since the 2001 season. New England has lost their last two Super Bowls, each to the New York Giants.

In this game, it starts at the line of scrimmage. Tom Brady must have protection and time to throw the football. Brady isn't a very mobile quarterback, so protecting him is critical. Running back LeGarrette Blount will be one of the most important players for the Patriots. Jonas Gray hasn't been getting many carries, but Blount has been playing well lately. If Blount can provide a balanced attack, that will take pressure off the Patriots receivers.

Speaking of Patriots receivers, they will have a tough task. The Seahawks' "Legion of Boom" secondary will be their most difficult defensive opponent yet. Tight end Rob Gronkowski has been healthy for the majority of this season, leading the Patriots in receiving yards and touchdowns. Brandon LaFell will have to make plays down field, and Julian Edelman just has to get open in short yardage situations. Tim Wright may also see playing time.

On the defensive side, the Patriots' biggest obstacle will be containing Marshawn Lynch, who is arguably the best back in the game today, and can run right through defenses. If the Patriots stack the box, they run the risk of getting beat deep.

The Patriots and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia also have to watch out for Russell Wilson, who makes key throws on third down, and is one of the best mobile quarterbacks in the game today. Darrelle Revis, Vince Wilfork and Brandon Browner have to play excellent on Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks won the NFC with playoff wins over the Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers. Pete Carroll is trying to lead the Seahawks to a second consecutive Super Bowl victory. If Carroll wins on Sunday, he would be the only coach in football history with two College National Championships and two Super Bowls.

The Seahawks are an old school football team. They run the ball effectively and they play great defense. This season Seattle ranked first in yards allowed, points allowed, passing yards and first downs allowed. We could very well be witnessing one of the best defenses in NFL history.

Richard Sherman leads the best secondary in football alongside Byron Maxwell, Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas. Last season we saw the Seahawks annihilate the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl, 43-8. Despite having the best offense in a single season, the Broncos and Peyton Manning could only record one touchdown the entire game.

The Seahawks' offense ranked No. 1 in rushing yards this season thanks to Lynch and Wilson. The Seahawks powerful run game keeps opposing offenses off the field and helps the defense. Doug Baldwin will most likely be covered by Revis and tight end Jermaine Kearse will be Wilson's next best option.

Bobby Wagner, Michael Bennett and Bruce Irvin make a lot of plays at the line of scrimmage for the Seahawks. If the Seahawks' linebackers and defensive tackles can force the Patriots into becoming a one-dimensional offense, they will most likely force a lot of turnovers.

The X factor for the Seahawks will be coach Carroll, who is known for his trick plays -- ask the Packers. We may see an onside kick or a fake punt in the Super Bowl.

Schedule, Where to Watch

The Patriots and Seahawks will play each other on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 6:30 p.m. EST at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on NBC. You can view a live game stream here. For those wishing to watch and listen to a Spanish telecast, you can tune into NBC Universo here.

Predictions

The Seahawks are the defending champs for a reason, they play defense, and defense wins championships. Wilson played his worst game of the season against the Packers while the Seahawks turned the ball over five times, and the Seahawks still won the game. Early ticket reports have also shown there will be far more Seahawks fans at the game than Patriots fans.

Seahawks win 31-13
