Fans have purchased over 118,000 units of the "Star Wars Humble Bundle," which launched on Tuesday, generating more than $1.3 million sales in less than a day, reports the Guardian.

The latest games bundle raises money for the promotion's charity partner, the U.S. fund of The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The promotion, which will be available for 13 more days, is expected to be one of the most lucrative humble bundles yet. Its sales rival "Civilization" creator Sid Meier's collection of games that raised $1.7 million in two days in February 2014.

The humble bundle deal allows "Star Wars" fans to pay $10, $25, $50, $100 or a custom amount to acquire three games: "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic," "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" and "Star Wars: Dark Forces."

Fans that pay more than the average price -- currently $11.34 -- also get "Star Wars Republic Commando," "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords" and "Star Wars Battlefront II."

If a fan pays $12 or more, they get all of the above, plus "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II," "Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition," and "Star Wars Empire at War: Gold Pack."

The "Star Wars Humble Bundle" games are available for PC. There are three games available for Mac.

The bundle's launch comes as the Star Wars franchise gears up for the December release of the "Episode VII: The Force Awakens" film.

Humble Bundle began in 2010 as a way for independent game developers to offer pay-what-you-want promotions of their titles. Customers decide how their payment is split between game developers, chosen charities and "tips" for Humble Bundle. The initiative has since attracted huge brands, like "Star Wars," and Cartoon Network's Android mobile games. The website is also experimenting with music, e-books and comedy bundles.

Humble Bundle has raised more than $50m for charities since its launch.
