As his comatose daughter Bobbi Kristina still lies in an Atlanta hospital, Bobby Brown and several family members engaged in a "bloody, bottle-smashing melee," Thursday night not far from the facility, according to TMZ.

Brown, his wife and several family members reportedly got together to have dinner for his birthday when an argument erupted after a Shayne Brown, a cousin, referred to Tina, Bobby's older sister as "a crackhead." 

Tina then reportedly spit in Shayne's face, and from there things only escalated. Several punches were thrown, and one witness claimed there was "blood everywhere."

Three people were injured, presumably the most serious of them being Shayne, who required several stitches for cuts to his head.

Police were called to the scene, but once they arrived Tina had already left, and no arrests were made.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina has been in a medically induced coma since being found face down in the bathtub of her home more than a week ago. Several media outlets report doctors at Emory Hospital have told the family there is nothing more they can do, and it might be time to have her removed from life support.

Reportedly, Bobby has ignored that advice and continues to hold out hope for a miracle for the only child he shares with former wife Whitney Houston. All medical decisions regarding Bobbi Kristina are reported to rest in her father's hands.

Houston's mother, Cissy, has not seen her granddaughter since she's been hospitalized but is now reported to be traveling to the hospital.

Houston, 48, was found dead in a Beverley Hills hotel bathtub nearly three years ago. The official cause of death was later declared to be an accidental drowning, but investigators later revealed drugs were in her body at the time of her death.
