The next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" will be bitter sweet as Jeremy will say goodbye to Mystic Falls and Stephen and Caroline will finally lock lips, much to the delight of "Steroline" fans.

Thursday's episode of "TVD," which is titled "Stay," will mark Steven R. McQueen's final hour as a series regular as his character, Jeremy, will decide to go off to art school, leaving his family, friends and home in Mystic Falls. Unfortunately, this also means that Bonnie will more than likely not be welcomed home by her longtime boyfriend if she does ever manage to escape from limbo.

As a result, actress Kat Graham teased that Bonnie won't get the closure she deserves.

"I can't say that Bonnie ever really has closure with anyone, you know what I mean?" Graham told E! News. "She kind of just ups and leaves and does her own thing whenever she wants to. But, I will say that it definitely does get addressed. I won't say that it doesn't."

On a brighter note, "Steroline" fans can look forward to a highly anticipated kiss between Stephen and Caroline, which is seen in the trailer video.

A sneak peak video published on TVLine, reveals that Elena and Damon pulled some strings in order to help Jeremy graduate early and go on to pursue his dream of enrolling in art school. In the clip, Damon cracks a few jokes about Jeremy's departure and sneaks him a marijuana joint as a going away present.

"Tell your sister, and I'll kill you. Again," Damon tells him.

Graham also teased that TVD will be blown away by Ian Somerhalder's directing debut.

"Ian directed some really cool stuff," Graham told E! News. "We're doing some stuff that, honestly, in the last six years we've never done on this show-at least I've never been a part of it. So, I'm super excited to show some for the really cool visuals to happen during the show."

According to Dread Central, the official synopsis reads as follows:

"It's Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) last day in Mystic Falls, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) puts on a brave face as they reminisce about their past.

"Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves growing closer as they prepare Caroline's family cabin for her mother to live out her final days. While packing up her office, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacInytre) turns to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) for help solving one of her remaining open cases involving Elena's parents.

"Elsewhere, when a violent confrontation with Enzo (Michael Malarkey) leaves Jeremy wondering whether he should leave or not, Matt (Zach Roerig) finds his own life on the line after Enzo lures him and Sarah Salvatore (guest star Tristan Mays) into his dangerous plan.

"Lastly, Caroline rushes to the hospital after learning her mother has taken a turn for the worse. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Brian Young and Caroline Dries."

Season 6, Episode 13 of "The Vampire Diaries," titled "Stay" will air Thursday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
