Missing Persons Report: Missouri 6-Year-Old Girl Jasmine Miller Found Dead in Hotel Room
The body of a missing 6-year-old girl was found at a Missouri hotel Saturday evening, Reuters reports.
Jasmine Miller was found dead shortly after she was reported missing. Her death is being treated as suspicious as officials are currently investigating the case.
Her body was found at the Windsor Inn at a major tourist destination in the Ozark Mountains near the city of Branson. The town is known for its entertainment theaters which frequently feature country music stars.
Police say Miller's death is considered homicide and a person of interest is in custody.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has recorded 48 missing persons in Missouri.
Cherie Nicole Barnes went missing back in the beginning of 1987 when she was just 2 years old. She was last seen in St. Louis.
