Mark Hamill will reprise his role as the Trickster in CW's "The Flash" series.

The "Star Wars" actor will return to the celebrated role 20 years after first appearing on the series. CW recently teased audiences in a preview for the next three episodes, which are slated to begin on March 17.

In the latest teaser, Hamill is shown in his old costume and in screenshots from the nineties. Then he is shown in a completely new and less colorful costume. According to the character description by CW, "In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original's deadly footsteps."

The latest preview also shows other Flash villains that will appear on the series and that the Flash will have to battle. The preview shows three episodes that will air and they include one where Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) begins terrorizing Central City in "Out of Time" and another "Rogue Time," which will show Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) return with his little sister Lisa Snart (aka Golden Glider, played by Peyton List) in tow.

The new series has become one of the most viewed properties by CW as it is based on the popular DC comics created by Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert. Reviews for the series have been overly positive, and CW hopes to continue the series' success.

Hamill recently wrapped production on the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and appeared in the Indie film "Minkow" and in "Kingsman: The Secret Service." He has also been in the TV series "Regular Show," "Miles From Tomorrowland" and "Adventure Time." Hamill is most famous for his role as Luke Skywalker in the original "Star Wars" trilogy. He is also famous for voicing the Joker in the animated "Batman" series and recently in the video game Arkham Asylum.

"The Flash" tells the story of Barry Allen who wakes up nine months after he is struck by lightning. When he discovers the bolt that struck him gives him the power of super speed, he assumes the identity of the The Flash and begins to fight crime in Central City.

The series first aired in October and returns on March. 17 at 8 p.m. on CW.
