Miranda Cosgrove 2015: 'iCarly' Returning to TV With the 'Susanne Martin Project' [Pic]
Former "iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove posted an Instagram photo of a car selfie announcing her return to the big screen for a new show.
"Just another car selfie," the 21-year-old former Nickelodeon star captioned the photo. "Started a new pilot today called the Susanne Martin Project. Excited."
This will be her first TV show since "iCarly" went off the air nearly two years ago, HollywoodLife.com reports.
The former "Drake and Josh" star reunited with the rest of the "iCarly" cast, according to Refinery29.
Cosgrove posted an Instagram photo while she casually reunited with Jennette McCurdy, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress and Noah Munck.
The former Nickelodeon star went on to study at USC School of Cinematic Arts after the cancellation of "iCarly."
Since then, she was a voiceover for the "Despicable Me" franchise and starred in the 2015 horror film "Intruders."
Cosgrove has kept in touch with the "iCarly" cast in the past two years, especially with Jennette McCurdy. She said that the cast should get together for a "reunion movie someday."
The young actress told J-14 back in January that she badly wanted to return to TV and try something new by steering away from Nickelodeon.
"I want to try to grow and do something new, so [I'd like to do a show that's] a little more mature," she said.
The NFL Tweens/Junior Apparel celebrity ambassador said it would be nice to get together with the old "iCarly" cast since everyone is busy with their own lives.
"Because we're all doing our own thing I don't get to see Nathan [Kress] and Jerry [Trainor] as much, so I think it'd be really fun to get to all be together again," she said.
It is unclear what role Miranda Cosgrove will play in NBC's untitled Suzanne Martin pilot, according to Deadline.
Patrick Waburton is set as the male lead in the show which tells a story of how things backfire for recent empty-nesters Mike Gunn and Martina Gunn when their children and parents move back home.
