Kim Kardashian Hair Fashion 2015: Accused of Stealing Serbian Pop Star’s Look
Serbian pop star Jelena Karleusha called out Kim Kardashian for allegedly copying her style and signature blonde locks, E! News reports.
Karleusha -- who has been described as the "Gaga of Serbia" -- recently posted side by side photos of herself and Kardashian to prove that her look was stolen.
"Will the real slim shady please stand up! PS (I am on the left) #illtakeitasacompliment," she captioned one of the photos.
Karleusha also posted photos of various media outlet articles that are accusing Kardashian for stealing her look.
So far, Kardashian has not responded to Karleusha's accusations. However, the reality TV star did speak with People recently and revealed that her new blonde bombshell look was actually inspired by Madonna.
Kardashian also revealed her new blond hair is only a temporary look that she is trying.
"It was a really last minute decision, and I loved taking this risk," she said, adding, "It's a fun look, but I'm not sure how long it'll last -- but a fun break for now."
Kardashian recently debuted her blonde hair on Instagram prior to leaving for Paris Fashion week.
Her hair stylist, Lorri Goddard, later spoke to the Huffington Post about Kardashian's hair transformation and named Paris Fashion week as the reason Kardashian opted to try a bold new look other than her traditional brunette hair.
Goddard also added that the process from brunette to blonde was an extremely difficult procedure that required several hours to fulfill.
"It is extremely difficult to take dark hair to platinum as it shifts the condition of the hair but hair can be kept strong if the proper conditions are taken," Goddard said.
"Always start with a strand test to establish if hair is strong enough to take the platinum journey and begin the hair process away from the scalp working with ends first as the scalp exudes heat, which quickens the process."
So far, Kardashian's new look has received mixed reactions. Some of her fans have gone on social media to say how much they love the look, while most fans and critics have slammed the new hair color and created memes to make fun of Kardashian's transformation, VH1 reports.
