"Botched" plastic surgeon and "The Real Housewives of Orange County" husband Terry Dubrow recently appeared on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" and made some controversial remarks about the skinny frame of Bethenny Frankel, People reports.

When a caller asked Dubrow to name what "Real Housewife" he would perform surgery on, he named "The Real Housewives of New York" star Frankel.

"I would put on Bethenny and just feed her a little bit. She looks amazingly pretty natural, but she's a little skinny girl for me."

Cohen then commented on the skinny frame of Dubrow's wife Heather to which he responded, "I think my wife has a little more muscularity going on."

Frankel later caught wind of the interview and took to Twitter to slam the celebrity plastic surgeon for his remarks.

Following her Twitter rant, Frankel made her own appearance on "WWHL" and had nicer things to say about Dubrow, Us Weekly reports.

Frankel explained that she refuses to let Dubrow's comment make her feel self conscious. Instead, she believes that Dubrow made a distasteful joke and there was no ill intention behind his statement.

"It's a joke. Everyone is very, very sensitive and I think that people who are overweight have a reason to be sensitive about it. It's more sensitive," she explained. "I'm not gonna complain. I am thin, I have a brand called Skinnygirl, and it's okay."

This isn't the first time Frankel has been criticized for being too skinny.

Back in October, Frankel posted a Facebook photo of herself reading and promoting her newest book, "Skinnygirl Cocktails."

However, her fans took less notice of the book and paid more attention to the reality-TV star's alarmingly small frame, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Frankel later responded to the critiques over her frame during a recent interview with Elvis Duran, RadarOnline reported.

During her Elvis Duran interview, the "Skinnygirl Cocktails" creator insisted that she is naturally small and is not anorexic.
