Bethenny Frankel Weight Loss: Fans Slam Frankel Over Skinny Frame
On Tuesday, Bethenny Frankel posted a Facebook photo of herself reading and promoting her newest book, "Skinny Girl Cocktails."
However, her fans took less notice of the book and paid more attention to the reality-TV star's alarmingly small frame, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Fans fled to Facebook to express their concern over Frankel's alleged weight loss and even accused her of being anorexic.
"So I love love love Bethenny but I say this in the nicest way...she looks thin in an unhealthy way. I know she is tiny but compared to like her main pic this pic is a bit concerning," Facebook user, Kristin Goldfine wrote.
"Seriously too thin," another Facebook user, Louise Versace Briglia wrote.
Frankel later responded to the critiques over her frame during a recent interview with Elvis Duran, RadarOnline reports.
During her Elvis Duran interview, the "Skinnygirl Cocktail" creator insisted that she is naturally small and is not anorexic.
"The way that my body was, it made me look like I was a skeleton and it became this whole Internet thing yesterday, that I'm anorexic and all this crazy stuff," she told the radio host," she explained.
Frankel also revealed that she "walks on eggshells" when deciding to post pictures of herself for fear of the backlash from fans.
ET reports that fans previously slammed Frankel back in July for an Instagram photo she posted of herself wearing her 4-year-old daughter's clothes.
Despite the backlash over her physique, Frankel remains positive about her current focus which is her return to "The Real Housewives of New York."
" [Returning on the show] just feels fresh and new, which is kind of representative of where I am in my personal life, which feels fresh and new," Frankel told Extra TV.
