'Chicago Fire' Season 3 Episode 22 Spoilers: Lt. Casey Goes Undercover to Unveil Jack Nesbitt's 'Shady Dealings'
There is a wedding emergency on the next episode of NBC's "Chicago Fire."
According to the IMDb synopsis, "Tensions between squad and truck begin to boil over threatening to divide the house... At Sgt. Voight's urging, a determined Lt. Casey is going to agree to go undercover in an effort to provide proof of Jack Nesbitt's shady dealings. In the meantime, Otis and Severide are going to continue to disagree about the integrity of Scott Rice."
"Chicago Fire" made a crossover with "Chicago P.D." and "Law and Order: SVU" in the last episode.
Olivia Benson made her way to Chicago to investigate a possible serial killer when one of the squad's cases looks similar to her unsolved rape and murder case, according to Entertainment Weekly.
When the SVU unit went to chase the suspected killer Greg Yates, he kidnapped a victim named Nadia and killed her across state lines in New York City.
"Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D." executive producer Matt Olmstead said Nadia's character won't be "dismissed by a little pep talk or a night out drinking."
The death of Nadia in "Chicago P.D." hit Lindsay hard because she feels directly responsible. We will see how she is dealing with it in the next episode.
"It sticks with Lindsay in terms of, 'Where do I belong?' Lindsay starts to look at her badge like, 'Am I better off minding my own business, crawling in a bottle and not reaching out to people?'" Olmstead said.
"In the next episode, when she's at the bar with her mom, her mom says, 'I'm so sorry you lost your friend,' she says, 'I didn't lose my friend. I got her killed. If I didn't get in her life and steer her in this direction, she would've been doing whatever she was doing,'" Olmstead added.
Tune into NBC Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET to catch the next episode of "Chicago Fire."
