On the season finale of "The Middle," Sue is all ready for graduation. This is supposed to be "The Year of Sue," but some events might ruin her special day.

Sue wants her graduation day to be just perfect, but she could face some unexpected surprises that could end up ruining her day, KSITE reports.

Frankie and Mike are very surprised when they are informed that Brick is actually doing so well in middle school that he is offered a chance to skip the eighth grade and go right to high school.

Axl is preparing for the summer when he sees his girlfriend, Devin, in some pictures on social media. The pictures show Devin having some fun with other guys, and this worries Axl. It makes him think she will soon leave him.

In the last episode of "The Middle" the Heck family tries to show Frankie a proper Mother's Day. She has been so disappointed in the past that this year she hoped for the best from her husband and children, according to TV Over Mind.

Mike is faced with the task of booking reservations for a new tea place that Frankie wants to go to. Mike is not that good with technology and has trouble finding the right button to book the reservations. Even the kids try to help him, and they cannot figure it out either. Mike ends up ordering two tea sets instead of reservations to the place.

The family ends up having to wait in line with the rest of the families that failed to make reservations to the new, popular place.

This year, the kids were tasked with getting their own present for their mother. They make at least three trips to the store to figure out a present before finally choosing wooden salad hand mixers. Axl brings a backup present of a custom coupon book. When Frankie forgets to get a card for her own mother, she uses Axl's gift.

Frankie tests the kids by asking what they would do differently as parents. Sue was talking about which classes she should take in college and Frankie tells her that she should follow her dreams. Axl and Sue do not have many problems with how they were raised by their mother, but Brick sure has a long list of bones to pick with his mom. He says he would be a more attentive parent than Frankie and Mike are to him.

"The Middle" airs Wednesday, May 13, on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
