The dramedy duo from 2009's "Adventureland," Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, have reunited to take on a new action-movie that involves just a little marijuana mixed with some action, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"American Ultra" is about Mike (Eisenberg) who was apparently a trained assassin and he did not even know it. He and his girlfriend Phoebe (Stewart) are a couple of stoners who pass the time in a rather meaningless existence. Mike is a store clerk, and she seems to be a stay-at-home stoner.

But all that changes one day when Mike encounters secret agents that have come for him. His skills reveal themselves when he is forced to fend away a couple of agents who have obviously rigged his car to blow up, and while he is fighting them, he cannot believe he is doing it.

Apparently his skills were buried in a long-term memory façade that he was not aware of. Fighting off super-agents as a stoner makes the comedy just a little more hysterical. But when Phoebe gets let in on the secret, the action turns to comedy, then turns back to action, and the cycle repeats.

Add Topher Grace ("That 70s Show"), John Leguizamo ("Kick *ss 2") and Connie Britton ("Nashville," "Friday Night Lights") to the mix and you now have a power comedy super-group that mixes up the laughs with the fights.

The action soon spirals for Mike to stay sober when Phoebe gets kidnapped and he is forced to remain off weed until he can fight his way through and get her back. Add to the fact that he was about to propose to her just before the whole super-agent events started happening and you now have a comical Jason Bourne story, with weed-induced amnesia, according to Yahoo.

The film was written by "Chronicle" writer Max Landis and was directed by "Project X's" Nima Nourizadeh.
