“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will, once again, be featured in the upcoming 2015 San Diego Comic-Con International. To complete the DC blockbuster’s Hal H panel, Deadline has reported that Warner Bros. will be bringing in Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and director Zack Snyder.
Zack Snyder talks "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the development of Henry Cavill as Superman and how "un-fun" it isn't to film one of the biggest movies on earth. The Man of Steel sequel, nicknamed Batman vs. Superman, made a lot of comic book fans scratch their heads when it cast Jesse Eisenberg as big, bad Lex Luthor. Fellow actors Michael Rosenbaum and Kevin Spacey, on the other hand, are on board.
The upcoming Man of Steel sequel has made some bold casting choices. According to rumors, the studio is now considering its first black superhero. Meanwhile, another interesting cast move is rumored to be the reason that the highly-anticipated film is not being released until 2016.
The untitled Man of Steel sequel, commonly known as Batman vs. Superman caused quite a stir when it cast Jesse Eisenberg as evil mastermind Lex Luthor. Was there a method behind Warner Bros. madness? Plus, has the real title of the movie been revealed? (Hint: it's not Batman vs. Superman.)
Despite the casting curveball, it is too early to count The Rock out of the DC Universe yet. Johnson is still under speculation to appear in the film, also known as Batman vs. Superman, but as Green Lantern instead.
