The two most successful countries in Copa America history will face off on Tuesday.

Argentina and Uruguay have won a combined 29 Copa America championships, by far the most of any two South American countries. These two countries have a big soccer rivalry with one another, and you can bet Tuesday's game will be an instant classic.

Argentina (3)

Argentina didn't have a very impressive opener. They tied Paraguay, 2-2, in their first game. Lionel Messi scored on a penalty kick and Sergio Agüero scored as well. However, Argentina blew a 2-0 lead in the final seconds. A disappointing loss, but it's time to move on for Argentina.

Messi leads this No. 3 ranked squad in the world, and they are the top ranked team in this tournament. Argentina was picked by many soccer experts before this competition began. Argentina has won 14 Copa America titles, the second most of all-time to only (you guessed it) Uruguay. Argentina last won the Copa America in 1993 when they defeated Mexico in the finals.

Sergio Romero will get the start in net while Javier Mascherano and Angel di María lead the middle fielders. Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez direct a powerful offense against Uruguay. Argentina has one point, which ties them for second place with Paraguay. Jamaica is in last place in Group B with zero points.

Argentina's next game is Saturday, June 20 against Jamaica

Uruguay (8)

Well, here we go again South American soccer fans must be thinking. Uruguay has won a record 15 Copa America championships, and they have an early lead in Group B. Uruguay is the only team in this group that even has a victory. Uruguay won the last Copa America (2011) in Argentina's backyard, and you know that still stings Argentina soccer fans.

Uruguay's most skilled forward, Luis Suarez, is not playing in this tournament because of the biting incident at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Regardless, Uruguay has jumped out to an early lead after defeating Jamaica in their first game.

Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera will be starting net in front of a terrific defense led by Maxi Pereira and team captain Diego Godan. Uruguay has the advantage in defense, but they have to be able to overcome Argentina's powerful offense. Uruguay eliminated Argentina in the 2011 Copa America.

Uruguay's next game is Saturday, June 20 against Paraguay.

Schedule, Where to Watch

Argentina and Uruguay will play each other on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Estadio La Portada stadium in La Serena, Chile. The game will be shown in beIN sports. You can watch a live game stream here.

Prediction

This is a must win for Argentina, no more excuses. Uruguay already has a win without their best scorer, and it's time for the highest ranked team to show up. Argentina doesn't want to enter the knockout stage as a wild card team. Tevez and Messi should take care of business in this game for Argentina.
