'Devious Maids' Season 3 Spoilers, News & Cast: Did Taylor Make Arrangements for Blanca to be Murdered?
Blanca, portrayed by Naya Rivera, disappeared during the last moments of last week's episode of "Devious Maids," and fans are anxious to learn what happened to one of the most cunning and devious maids of them all.
During Episode 3, Blanca encountered a masked criminal after returning to the Stappord home following Zolia's called-off wedding. The assailant quickly placed a sack over her head and dragged her away, leaving the young maid's fate a mystery. Prior to that event, Blanca was actually quite convinced that Katie might have murdered adoptive father Michael However, he returned from a business trip in Boston, squishing those suspicions.
In regards to the kidnapping, some speculate that Taylor Stappord may have orchestrated the kidnapping in order to foil Blanca's plan to share information about the fake burglary with Michael or tell anyone about the horrific drawing illustrated by her newly adopted daughter Katie. This theory has validity particularly because Taylor took a mysterious phone call after deciding she would cut Blanca off.
However, that's not the only drama in the episode titled "The Awful Truth." In that episode, Rosie discovered that Zolia's baby was actually fathered by Pablo, and when Zolia confesses this truth to Javier, he leaves her. Also, Ernesto, Rosie's ex, arrived to town, and after meeting Spence, he follows him to Zolia's wedding and gives Rosie the shock of her life. Additionally, Evelyn decided she would sell her house due to its reputation of violence ( i.e, Flora, Phillipe and the foot).
"Since You Went Away," the fourth episode of the third season should answer burning questions that fans have after last week's episode. A promo for the upcoming episode shows Carmen arrive to the Stappord door, and she inquires about Blanca and the red dress that Blanca borrowed from her. However, Taylor informs her that Blanca has apparently quit and packed her things headed back her home state in Arizona.
The Lifetime-released synopsis for "Since You Went Away" reads, "Rosie juggles having Ernesto back in her life. Genevieve makes a heartfelt offer to Zoila. When Jesse makes an unexpected discovery, he seeks out Marisol to help. Carmen finds a clever way to make Sebastian jealous. Michael becomes suspicious of Taylor."
Episode 4 of "Devious Maids" airs Monday, June 22, at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
