'Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare' Gameplay Update: 'Supremacy' DLC Brings New Maps & Exo Zombies
Playstation and PC users can finally catch up with the rest of the Xbox players of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." It has been announced that the long-awaited "Supremacy DLC" has finally been made available to the Sony console and PC users.
The access to the major expansion pack comes a month after Activision released the DLC to Xbox users first. This follows the "Xbox-timed exclusivity" that Microsoft users were able to enjoy with all "Call of Duty" titles except "Black Ops 3" in which the game publisher decided to finally go to the other end of the spectrum and release the game and its upcoming DLC first to the Sony PlayStation.
The "Supremacy" DLC is the third expansion pack for the popular shooting title from Sledgehammer Games.
According to the description posted on the game's official website, the new DLC will bring four unique multiplayer maps that will "take the fight around the globe" as well as new Exo Zombie level for the players to enjoy.
Included in the four new locations is the Skyrise Map, an upgraded version of the Highrise map that players first encountered in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."
The Skyrise is set in a new skyscraper that is overlooking the city of Athens in Greece. It is a small-to-medium sized map where positioning of the players is key to be victorious.
As stated on the Activision Games blog, the three other locations feature popular landmarks all over the world which will take players to the Compound, a "Colorado wilderness," the Parliament, which is a military cargo vessel docked at the River Thames and Kremlin.
Another thing players have been eager to get their hands on with the new expansion pack is the arrival of the new Exo Zombies level dubbed "Carrier."
This new level is the third part of the Exo Zombies gameplay in "Advanced Warfare" that was first introduced in the game through the Havoc DLC. This part will introduce a new playable character that is based on a real actor, Bruce Campbell, Activision Games blog added.
Campbell will join the cast of characters based from real life actors John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal as they defeat zombies in the video game.
There will also be new weapons and Sentinel squads that will come with the DLC to aid players in fending off their undead opponents. "Supremacy DLC" will also feature the Exo Grapple Playlist, which players can use in whichever location map they find themselves playing.
The Supremacy DLC is now available for download for the PS3, PS4 and PC.
