Sledgehammer Games boss Michael Condrey has given some interesting information regarding Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer. He claims that the new CoD game is going back to its "roots" and will feature some familiar weapons and maps of the past.
Activision has announced that the next upcoming Call of Duty game is going back to its roots and will be set during the iconic World War 2. In addition to that, the game will be developed by Sledgehammer Games, a known partner of Activision who has also contributed to the development of two previous Call of Duty titles.
Activision's COO, Thomas Tippl admitted that the "Call of Duty: Infinite War" was a mistake, taking the story into space was terrible. Now, the company acknowledged the fault they had made as the sales were 50% below than the last series. "Call of Duty" promised to be back into its roots again.
