It looks like the WWE is not done bringing back former superstars as Daily Wrestling News reports that WWE chairman Vince McMahon wants to bring back 11-time world champion and Hall of Famer Edge. Last month, The Dudley Boyz returned after a 10-year absence. Also, rumors about the Hardy Boyz and Carlito possibly coming back has been previously reported via Latin Post.

McMahon is not the only one who wants "The Rated-R Superstar" back, but also head of talent relations Paul "Triple H" Levesque. Of course, Edge is retired and has a legitimate neck injury, which means that we won't see him take any form of bumps in the ring. However, he will be an excellent on-air personality for WWE TV.

The report also said that the 70-year-old chairman regarded Edge as one of most under-appreciated WWE superstars to come after The Attitude Era. He also recognized him as a large part of SmackDown's success during the Ruthless Aggression and Parental Guidance Era.

Edge won the first-ever Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania 21, catapulting him into one of the biggest stars after the end of the Attitude Era. He won his first ever WWE Title in January 2006, cashing in his briefcase on then-champion John Cena, who just competed inside Elimination Chamber at the New Year's Revolution pay-per-view, WWE.com recalled.

The Toronto-native went on to win 10 more world championships and became one of the most decorated wrestlers of all time. He also won the 2010 Royal Rumble and played the main event at WrestleMania 24 against "The Undertaker."

Another WWE.com article noted that "The Ulitmate Opportunist" was forced to retire a day after WrestleMania 27 as he was suffering numbness and uncontrollable trembling in his arms and hands, which are symptoms of neuropraxia. An MRI revealed that Edge could never wrestle again as he would never be cleared to compete.

He was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 and ventured towards acting. Edge, whose real name is Adam Copeland, appeared as a recurring character for Syfy's supernatural drama series "Haven" for four seasons. Copeland was recently confirmed to play Atom Smasher on The CW's "The Flash," as reported by Pro Wrestling Insider.

In an exclusive interview, the Hall of Famer told WWE.com about his new career path, saying, "Well, this new career path that I'm on constantly presents all kinds of different roles and when a role as a comic book character came up, I jumped at it."

The 41-year-old recently returned along with former tag team partner Christian to guest on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast. The duo, known as E&C, also appeared alongside Seth Rollins, The Dudley Boyz and The New Day in one of the funniest RAW backstage segments in recent WWE history. You can watch the clip below.
