‘The Daily Show With Trevor Noah’ Zeroes in on Ben Carson [WATCH]
Nothing quite says "The Daily Show" like an opening monologue segment on a republican presidential candidate. This week, host Trevor Noah has really zeroed in on the media blunders of candidate Ben Carson.
It all started off when Carson made comments on a talk show about how he would respond to a shooter, such as the one that killed 10 people in Oregon earlier this week.
"The Daily Show" replayed his comments of how he would not just let the shooter shoot him, but he would rally the people around him and charge the shooter, saying he might get some of them, but he can't get all of them.
He then followed up his statement with a laugh, which switched back to Noah and was sarcastically mocked.
Noah then talked about how his rhetoric is usually filled with boring casualness that takes awhile for him to get out.
The media then capitalized on Carson's comments because it seemed like he was blaming the victims for not doing enough to save their own lives. When approached for comment on that accusation, Carson said he did not accuse them, but only said what he would do in that situation if it were him. Of course, Carson laughed again when he turned to walk away.

But that wasn't the end of Carson's political mistakes in the media over the Oregon controversy. Carson later told the media that he was once approached by a gunman in a Popeye's and said that he directed the deranged man to the Popeye's employees because they were the one's that he wanted.
Noah really put the comical satire all over this incident and Carson once again was made out to look incredibly foolish and selfish for his comments.
See the video below for that segment.
