Trevor Noah took to the anchor desk on "The Daily Show" and wanted to discuss a pet project of his -- namely Republican Presidential candidate Ben Carson. But that segment was not about his qualifications, but rather his trademark style of "truth telling."

According to Salon, Carson has made a few headlines lately when he made some claims about his past that in any other country would be downright horrible. These assertions included his claim that he once stabbed a man and damaged his belt buckle, his own temper that led to him be violently aggressive with people, his scholarship at West Point and even his claims to have met General Westmoreland.

"Maybe it's me or where I'm from, but this sh** is weird," Noah said on the show. "The media is saying, 'Those rumors about you having a clean record and you being an upstanding member of society, those things are true.' And Ben Carson's like, 'Bullsh**! I'm dangerous and I tried to kill people and I'm a bad person and I should be President.' What world are we living in?"

But now, Carson is claiming the media has been on a witch-hunt for him and he cannot recall ever a time that current President Barack Obama had been under that level of scrutiny while running for the office.

Of course, that was a golden opportunity for Noah that he simply could not pass up. After showing an extensive list of media videos where Obama had been highly scrutinized about various topics that would later be debunked, Noah chimed in with his comparison of the two men.

"Yeah, so they vetted Obama to the point where they questioned whether he was a legitimate natural-born American citizen," Noah said during the segment. "But at least no one ever accused Obama of not stabbing a guy."
