‘Supernatural’ Spoilers Season 11 Episode 8: Sam’s Childhood Imaginary Friend Comes Back to Life [Watch]
The next episode of "Supernatural" will feature a person from Sam Winchester's childhood, but it is unclear if he is real or imaginary. Then again, anything can happen on this show.
Episode 8, titled "Just My Imagination," will skip a week and air on broadcast network Fox on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 9 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.
There are many children in the world who grow up with an imaginary friends and for some parents, they have to wonder if that imaginary friend is more than just a figment of the kid's imagination.
According to Spoilers Guide, the show will finally tackle the subject when Sam's own imaginary friend, Sully (guest star Nate Torrence), from childhood starts to reappear in his life. He begins to wonder why he is back or if he is even the same friend he once knew when he was a kid. But then it takes on a whole different meaning when he realizes something else.
That is when Dean enters and can also see Sully, which in the same instant gives Sam a mild freak out. Suffice it to say that Sully and Sam had a few secrets of their own and if Dean can see him now, then what else is Sully up to?
When Sam was a young child, he was left home a lot on many occasions. By home, what that really means is left in the hotel room of the week while his father and brother were out fighting evil demons and creatures. So that is why he needed Sully in his life, so he wouldn't be so lonely.
Fans might think that Sully is back as a malevolent force, but that might not be true at all. Sully could in fact be back because he is in actual danger and now needs grown-up Sam's help to stave it off.
