Steve Rogers better-known-as Captain America is clad in snug armor and poised for combat; hand-to-hand battle ensues, and he's forced to go toe-to-toe with yet another soulless villain. Lethal weapons perfected by science, the hero and the Soviet agent Winter Solider square-off on a level playing field; the iconic metal shield clashes with a fortified metallic/mechanic arm, and the audience gasps; the victor yet to be proclaimed.

Marvin Gaye's album Trouble Man; frothy flirtation; remarkable resistance; and unforeseen computer intelligence. Marvel's Captain America: Winter Solider is, perhaps, the answer to a number of questions that you may've meant to ask, but never bothered to:

Does an action movie need to be plum-loaded with terrific female characters and P.O.C. (People of Color) characters? Could Captain America be any more needlessly charming and deserving of fan admiration? Is Nick Fury the epitome of all things badass and brilliant? Does Black Widow know how to do everything, including kick just about anyone's ass? Will heroes and villains, alike, shock and surprise you in this film? Will Marvel continue to tease fans, and push them to the very edge of their germ-ridden, reclining theater seats?

The answer to all questions and more, be it yes or no, or otherwise, is Captain America: Winter Solider and a resounding "YESSSSS."

The must-see, action-packed film grabs viewers at the beginning, and violently cradles them until the very end. Plot twists are met with dynamic character turns; and the question of obligation versus freedom was one that was posed and answered by the awesome film, which demanded that audiences recognize the strength in not only the Captain's ability to lead, but his steadfast commitment to the American people, more so than the American government.

Latin Post's "Enter the Latin Post 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Family 4-Pack Giveaway!", made it possible for four Marvel fans to score reserved seat to the premiere of the film on Wednesday evening at the AMC Lowes at 312 W. 34th Street.

The winners: Jessenia, Reynaldo, Gamaliel and Justin unanimously agreed that the 136 min. film was a terrific success, and each verbalized that this film was the best Marvel production ever to grace the big screen.

"Great movie, I give it a 10-out-of-10," said 15-year-old Justin, who stated that the Punisher was his favorite Marvel character. The same sentiment about that film was echoed by the entire quartet.

Reynaldo confessed that he is a devout DC fan and his favorite Marvel character is Wolverine; nonetheless, he stated, "It was really great. Hands down, the best Marvel movie that I've seen... hands down."

"I think it's awesome how the film shows Captain America's willingness to stand up to the government, particularly being that he's Captain America," said Gamaliel. "My favorite part of the film is when Captain America convinces everyone to stand-up and do what's right; and not just follow orders because they're orders."

"The film is just a definite must-see," Jessenia said, charismatically. "And, there were a lot of strong female characters in the film."

"This film really showed Captain America as a hero and a leader. The other movies don't really show him with great powers...they just treat him like he's some guy...in this, you can really see all of the things that he can do," Reynaldo said, receiving reassuring nods from the others. "I loved every part of the movie."
