Mad Men fans are sad that the show will be ending after its upcoming season, but they are not the only ones. Recently, the show's cast was very blunt with their emotions regarding the AMC show's conclusion.

Yesterday, the first half of season 7 of Mad Men premiered at Arclight Hollywood.

"It's sad; there's no other way to say it," Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper) told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm glad that the show has done as well as it has and I've been able to contribute my part to it."

Elisabeth Moss (Peggy Olson) plans on keeping Peggy's signature ring, which is seen in almost every episode she has appeared in, after the show wraps.

"Nobody wants it to finish, but all good things must come to an end," she said. "It's definitely bittersweet. It's a lot more bitter, like 90 percent bitter, 10 percent sweet."

Rich Sommer (Harry Crane) agrees with the bitter part and even compares the show ending to dying.

"It's sort of like being told you're going to be dead in a few months," he explained. "Instead of just having a car accident where it's just quick and over, you're mourning the fact that you're going to be dead in a few months."

January Jones (Betty Draper), however, hopes to keep the cast together after the series finale.

"I had the idea that we're all going to have a book club when it's done where we'll see each other on a monthly basis," she said. "[We'll read] children's books like Everyone Poops."

Spoilers for season 7, like all seasons of Mad Men, are hard to find. Cast members explained how hard it has been to maintain this tradition.

"We've had a lot of people leave the show over the years for various circumstances," Jon Hamm (Don Draper) said at Arclight. "Those are always hard because you come to something like this and there they are, but they're not on the show and no one knows."

At the end of season 5 (when Peggy changes jobs), Moss had to hide the fact that Peggy was still on the show.

"People didn't know if I was going to be on the show anymore," Moss shared. "It was like, 'Where are you going? I'm going to work ...'"

The only spoiler revealed is that Jay Ferguson (Stan Rizzo) will be keeping his beard after Mad Men ends, so at least fans can take comfort in that.

Season 7 of Mad Men premieres April 13.
