Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S7 release date, pricing and specs continue to circulate online. One of the latest speculations revealed that it may come with a more affordable price tag.

Citing Pan Jiutang, a China-based analyst, Times of India reported that Samsung might offer the Samsung Galaxy S7 for a lower price. Specifically, the next-gen smartphone might be priced 10 percent lower than the current flagship, Samsung Galaxy S6.

"This would make the top Samsung smartphone of 2016 a much cheaper device compared to handsets by the likes of Apple, HTC, Sony and LG, etc," the post further noted. Since Samsung Galaxy S7's launch won't happen in two to three months, as also noted in the report, it is still possible for the phone's pricing to change.

Recurring rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S7's release date also noted that it might arrive earlier than usual. The Samsung predecessors were launched around March. But if the speculations are true regarding Galaxy S7, tech fans may see the smartphone as early as January 2016.

As for the alleged specs of the device, a previous Latin Post's report noted, citing ValueWalk, that variants may be released depending on the chipset used. The East Asia model of the Samsung Galaxy S7 might be powered by Exynos 8890 while the US model will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.

GeekSnack shared that over these two possible chipset choices for the S7, users may prefer Exynos over the Snapdragon because of the former's "record-breaking" scores from benchmark apps like GeekBench and Antutu.

Recent rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs also revealed that it might have a new camera technology, called Britecell, which offers better light sensitivity in low-light conditions. Britecell also reduces color fuzziness and provides less distortion in the images.

For more specs of the 2016 flagship device, S7 will reportedly feature a 4K display. In addition to the standard version of the Samsung Galaxy S7, which will allegedly bear the model number SM-G930, the South Korean tech giant will produce Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935A) -- similar to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge devices.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is expected to have a curved glass display. Learn more about the differences of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge by watching this comparison video posted by Android Authority on YouTube:
