If there was ever any doubt that morbid themes could make it into a comedy show, just leave it to "The Last Man on Earth" to work them in and turn them into laughter.

Episode 10, titled "Christmas," will air on broadcast network Fox next Sunday, Dec. 13 at 9:30 p.m. EST, according to TV Guide.

There is no shortage of themes and situations that this show could not touch upon considering it is a post-apocalyptic environment and everything in the world is up for grabs. The group only assumes they are the last six people on the Earth, but fans know that is not true considering Mike is still in space, but about to come down.

The next episode is about to show just how morbid the show can be, but still be funny about the whole situation. Gail will be front and center for this episode when she is forced to make the best of a bad situation.

As many already know, she is not without her own quirks. Before her and Erica arrived to the group, they experimented with being lesbians. But once they discovered there were other men in the world, that experiment went away.

So now, she has to make do with what she has. That means that she will have to support Erica through her pregnancy and her relationship with Phil.

Also, Melissa and Todd might have had one big happy reunion on the last episode, according to Entertainment Weekly, but TV Guide reports that they will start having some of their own trouble in the next episode.

Their newly reinvigorated commitment will turn out to have its own kinks to work out and that could lead to trouble in paradise.

Following all of the lavish gifts that were brought out in the last episode, some fans may think that they have spoiled each other and now have too high of expectations out of one another.
