A fan of "The Walking Dead" may have taken her love for Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) to far over the weekend when she did something that the star thought would only happen on the show.

According to TMZ, the fan showed up for the New Jersey Walker Stalker Con event and got a little too excited around Reedus when he was doing a meet and greet with all of his fans.

The female fan was apparently standing beside Reedus when she got a little too excited and actually bit him. However, she did not break skin because security for the event was there and promptly pulled her off of him.

Even though Reedus was clearly shocked by the incident, he had declined to press charges against the lady. He did not need medical attention because the bite did not break his skin.

Event organizers have banned the lady from all future Walker Stalker events and she is also banned from any sponsored event the actor will be attending in the future.

According to TV Guide, the lady who actually bit him did not seem to have any remorse for the incident, but rather voiced her opinion as if she was a victim.

A picture of her Instagram account showed her taking the ban personally without any acknowledgement of wrong doing. But she did apologize to Reedus.

"Finally met the love of my life, and get banned from the rest of the CON and lose two more $100 photo ops with him because I lost my mind... got so excited standing beside him... and just turned my head and bit him! I don't know what came over me. It wasn't my intention to hurt him. I'm sorry, Norman!" the woman wrote on Instagram.

Reedus continued on with the rest of the event after the incident.
