'Arrow' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers: Damien Darhk Crashes Oliver's Holiday Party, Threatens to Kill Felicity [Watch]
Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will be put in immense danger when Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) kidnaps her and tries to kill her in retaliation against Oliver (Stephen Amell) in the mid-season finale of "Arrow."
A synopsis for Wednesday's Episode 4 of Season 4, which is titled "Dark Waters," reveals that Damien will launch a brutal attack against Oliver.
"After the city is attacked again, Oliver makes a bold move against HIVE. Malcolm (John Barrowman) checks in on Thea (Willa Holland) and leaves her with a warning. Things take a horrible turn when Damien Darhk retaliates in a brutal manner at Oliver's mayoral holiday party," the description reads, according to ComicBook.com.
In the extended trailer video, Damien crashes Oliver's holiday party and sends him flying across the room with just one hit. Another clip shows fighters in Damien's HIVE opening fire, as Damien seeks to hurt Oliver by any means necessary.
"The best way to teach someone a lesson isn't to punish them. As long as they are alive, they have something to fight for. That is what I am taking away from you," Damien tells Oliver in the promo.
It looks like Damien is on a mission to destroy Oliver. He does not like that someone could be elected to public office who does not share his ideals and is not that interested in helping him. This means that he has to intimidate Oliver out of the race for Mayor.
Meanwhile, executive producer Wendy Mericle opened up about the mysterious death that was teased in a flash forward scene earlier this season. The showrunner told TVLine that there would be more flash forwards "right around mid-season."
She added, "If we do decide to do that, it will reveal even more pertinent information about not who's going to be in the grave but certainly where our characters are when that [death] happens."
The mid-season finale of "Arrow" will premiere on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
