‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ News: Hillary Clinton Set to Visit Thursday
There is no shortage of guests for late night television this political season as Hillary Clinton is gearing up for an appearance on "Late Night With Seth Myers" this Thursday.
According to Variety, the Democratic Presidential frontrunner will be making her first appearance on the show with Seth Myers, but that has not been her first one on Late Night talk shows.
She has previously made appearances on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and a cameo on "Saturday Night Live" during this primary election season that is starting to heat up in both parties with Republican theatrics and Democratic challengers.
There is no doubt that political candidates for their respective party nomination have been ratings gold for Late Night talk shows as well as other news programs and daytime talk shows.
Clinton's strongest opponent, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), has also been making his way through the Late Night talk circuit, most recently announcing that he would be joining Jimmy Fallon on his show tonight.
Sanders has previously went on both Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert's Late Night shows and has made strong progress in his campaign following those appearances.
Clinton has enjoyed a lead over Sanders in national polls, but in smaller localized polls, Sanders has soared.
Also appearing on the show Thursday with Clinton will be the former and longtime "Daily Show" correspondent Samantha Bee, who will be soon debuting her own Late Night show on TBS titled "Full Frontal."
Ancrea Bocelli has been listed as the musical guest for the episode and there seems to be quite a rhythm going for the show to demonstrate female power in the current mainstream.
"Late Night With Seth Myers" is the truly late night talk program that airs on NBC, which broadcasts starting at 12:35 a.m. on the network and its affiliates.
