Harry Styles Plans To Cut Hair for Charity
Harry Styles has philanthropic ideas when it comes to making use of his hair. The One Direction singer recently revealed that he plans to cut his hair for a good cause.
One Direction sat down for an interview on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" last Thursday to promote their new album, "Made in the A.M." According to Hello Magazine, that's when Styles was also asked about his hair. The 21-year-old admitted that he is growing his hair to a certain length for charity.
Styles reportedly gestured to his chest to indicate how long he wants his hair to grow. He said he plans to grow it to reach at least nine inches long since that's believed to be the minimum length needed for it to be given to charity.
The conversation about Styles' tresses started when Corden wondered what Prince Harry had talked to the singer about at the Royal Variety Performance on Nov. 13. The talk show host wanted to know if the Prince of Wales had asked Styles about his hair.
"Is this true - that Prince Harry asked a question that I am wondering? He asked about your hair, and quite where we're going with it at the moment?" Corden asked according to Hello Magazine.
"When's it going to stop? What style is the next, Styles?" the singer reportedly jokingly said in reply.
One Direction was among the performers who attended the music event held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. According to US Weekly, it was when the 31-year-old prince had asked the singer when the last time he had a haircut. Styles reportedly replied that he's not planning on having it cut soon.
The site also shared a photo of One Direction talking to the prince at the event. Styles is seen gesturing with his hand. Hello Magazine also shared another candid shot of the group, where this time Prince Harry is seen holding his hand up to the singer's chest.
Prince Harry also greeted Australian singer Kylie Minogue at the event, where he complimented her performance. The prince is seen in the picture shared by US Weekly leaning over the singer for a cheek-to-cheek greeting.
The annual gala was also attended by other musical artists. British girl band Little Mix was there to perform as well. Sir Elton John, The Corrs, Kacey Musgraves and Josh Groban were among the other performers.
