There are few people in this world that receive more attention and media coverage than international super couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. New reports coming in, however, threaten to damage their relationship.

Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi is claiming that she recently had an affair with rapper Kanye West, all while his girlfriend Kim Kardashian is carrying the couple's baby. Ghobadi states that while she is not proud of her actions, she felt like Kardashian deserved to know.

"This is going to destroy the Kardashian family," Leyla told Star magazine. "It's bad. It's really bad. It's just embarrassing. But if I were Kim and about to have a baby, I would want to know," said the model.

The 24-year-old model stated that it was not her intent to ever horn in on West and Kardashian's relationship, but that after multiple aggressive attempts by Kanye to bed her, she finally relented. Ghobadi has said that West was tireless in his pursuit.

"He invited me back to his hotel room, but I refused, as I felt it was too rushed," she alleged, stating that the following night "he told me he wanted to 'hook up,' but I was concerned that he was seeing Kim Kardashian. He told me that [the relationship] was for publicity and nothing serious."

This is not the first time that a Kardashian relationship has been accused of being purely for publicity. After her extremely brief marriage to NBA basketball player Kris Humphries, it was largely rumored that Kardashian only walked down the aisle to drum up attention, and of course, money.

With Kanye West's off-the-cuff antics and notorious ego, the allegations are not entirely unbelievable. Still, representatives from both the Kardashian and West camps are adamant that Ghobadi's claims are completely false, stating that she is actually the one who is trying to receive attention.

"This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit," his rep told "People" in a statement on Wednesday. "It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."
