YouTube sensation Troye Sivan made his U.S. television debut on Tuesday on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," and fans showed their support on Twitter.

Sivan performed his hit single "Youth" from his debut album "Blue Neighbourhood," which was released on Dec. 4. and has received positive reviews from critics.

The 20-year-old also took part in a sketch with former wrestler and actor John Cena, in which he played Cena's inner child.

According to Billboard, the Australian singer's popularity has been growing over the last year. His 2014 EP "TRXYE" peaked to No. 5 on the Billboard 200. That was followed by recognition from stars like Taylor Swift for his EP "Wild."

Sivan, who has 3.7 million subscribers on YouTube, will begin his first North America tour on Feb. 3 at The Vogue in Vancouver, BC.

The singer took to Twitter to share how happy he was for getting the chance to perform on Fallon's show, but his fans were probably even more excited.

Some fans expressed pride in the young star.
