Would you like to see Jessica Chastain as a villain in an upcoming Marvel movie?

Chris Hemsworth sure does, and he is actually looking at whether or not she could be the one that he does battle with in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok."

Speaking with Cinema Blend, the actor, best known for his work as the Norse God, expressed an admiration for Chastain's talent and noted she would make a great villain for Thor.

The actor is currently working with Chastain, Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt on the new "Huntsman" movie and stated all three women proved intimidating.

"They all have potential to scare the hell out of me, any of those women. I felt like the little brother, getting bossed around by these three women in the best way," he said.

When pressed about which woman he would single out for the villain role in Thor, it was Chastain that he picked.

"Oh God, don't make me pick one. ... Maybe Jessica, but only because [Emily Blunt and Charlize Theron] are already villains in our film," he said.

Chastain is coming off an antagonist role in Guillermo del Toro's "Crimson Peak" where she plays the mysterious sister Lucille Sharpe to Tom Hiddleston's character Sharpe. In that film, Chastain played a seemingly repressed but calculating woman looking for a way to help secure her family's fortune.

Yet that character was not a straight-forward evil doer, her history far more complex and her emotions unpredictable. That isn't to say that a villainous role in the Marvel Universe would require a black-and-white interpretation. After all, this is the very franchise that has Loki, the most lovable of all Marvel antagonists. That said, someone that poses a threat to both the Norse God and the Incredible Hulk would have to be rather potent both physically and mentally.

This is unlikely to happen ultimately, but it could make for interesting speculation until the villain is officially picked.

So we return to the question that opened this story: Would you like to see Jessica Chastain as a villain in "Thor: Ragnarok?"
