Macbook Pro Retina vs. MacBook Air 2014 Specs, Features, Price & Comparison: Will Apple Put Focus On MacBook Air Changes This Year?
We all know that the MacBook Pro is superior to the MacBook Air -- just look at the price difference -- but could this year's Macbook Air release outshine its MacBook Pro counterpart?
Perhaps one of the reasons why the MacBook Air release could be so huge is the rumored addition of the retina screen. The MacBook Pro already boasts the retina screen that was seen as well overdue for quite some time, and now the Air is just finally catching up. Moreover, the Air just simply has not had enough improvements in recent years and now Apple fans are starting to wonder when in the world the tech giant will provide significant upgrades to the Air.
In addition to the boost in screen quality thanks to the potential retina screen, Apple also could give users another option in terms of computer size and rumors have been swirling about a possible 12-inch option. The MacBook Air is marketed as the lighter computer and thus could be the better option for people who are always on the go, so this does make sense.
Despite all the talk about the MacBook Air, little has been said about the future of the MacBook Pro. Considering that the MacBook Pro stole the show in the last release, Apple might want to reverse things this time and put more focus on the Air. The biggest rumor surrounding the MacBook Pro is that Apple could be planning to just eliminate the non-retina screen MacBook Pro computers entirely.
Regardless of what the speculation indicates, we are inching closer and closer to the day when Apple pulls the top secret tarp off its new products. According to reports, Apple will unveil the MacBook Air in the first week of June at WWDC.
What do you expect to see from Apple? Do you think the company will put more effort into improving the MacBook Air or will they surprise us with bigger MacBook Pro changes? Let us know what you think in the comments section located below.
