The all-female cast of the forthcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot is ready to bust some ghosts as a new photo from the film was sent to Ghostbusters fansite, Planet Ghosbusters, and shared on Twitter.

The film, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Kristen Wiig, is being directed by Paul Feig this time around.

The ladies look picture perfect in the new shot, as they sport modernized jumpsuits and upgraded proton packs. The movie's plot has been kept under wraps, but if the film is as eye-grabbing as this photo, then Feig has a surefire hit on his hands.

Many fans have embraced the reboot. Unfortunately, the film has also been met with its fair share of backlash from onlookers as well. While a remake is a great way to put a twist on a classic film, there are fans who think that an all-female cast was not the way to do that. In October, Wiig expressed how disappointed she was with the adverse reactions from fans.

"The fact there was so much controversy because we were women was surprising to me," she told the Los Angeles Times. "Some people said some really not nice things about the fact that there were women. It didn't make me mad. It just really bummed me out. We're really honoring those movies."

The supporting cast includes Chris Hemsworth as their secretary, Andy Garcia as the mayor of New York City, and Neil Casey as the film's villain.

Earlier this year, stars of the original film -- Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Sigourney Weaver -- were also confirmed to appear in the film. Harold Ramis, who wrote and starred in "Ghostbusters I & II," died in 2014.

"Ghostbusters" is slated to hit theaters on July 15, 2016.
