The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to win their fourth-straight game when they host the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder at the Quickens Loan Arena on Thursday night. The Thunder currently have the longest winning streak in the NBA with six wins in a row and will be battling the Cavaliers for the first time this season.

Cleveland is still without superstar point guard Kyrie Irving, who is still recovering from a broken kneecap suffered in last season's finals against the Golden State Warriors. Irving denied the reports that he will make his season debut against the Thunder.

"We prefer to err on the side of caution. We've come out this far; we've played without our starting backcourt for the first few months of the season. But there's still a lot of the season left," Cavaliers coach David Blatt added.

Iman Shumpert, who just returned from a wrist injury, is questionable to play in the next game after suffering a groin injury in the 89-77 win over the Celtics on Tuesday. The injury occurred in the second half, but he was able to score six points in his second game back.

LeBron James led the Cavs in the win with 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists with two steals and a block. Kevin Love added 20 points, eight rebounds and five assists while Mo Williams had 10 points and three assists off the bench.

Oklahoma City comes into the game as the hottest team in the league and they are using their newfound defense to compliment their offensive prowess. The Thunder have held their opponents below 100 points in the last seven games as well as a 40.5 percent field goal shooting in the six-game winning streak.

In their latest win on Wednesday, they hosted the Portland Trail Blazers and held to just 34.8 percent shooting in the 106-90 win. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists in just 29 minutes of play.

Dion Waiters, who was acquired from the Cavs last season, scored 18 points off the bench while Russell Westbrook added just 13 points, three rebounds and five assists. He pointed out the importance of blowout wins because the rest is helpful in their very tight schedule as they play Cleveland in the second game of a back-to-back.

"Definitely easy. Don't got to do much. Don't got to play the fourth quarter. Get a chance to rest," Westbrook said after the game. The Cavaliers and the Thunder have split the season series the past three seasons. Tip-off in Cleveland will start at 8 p.m. ET and is nationally televised via NBA on TNT.
