Chris Brown knows who he's been and the "Loyal" singer insists he's committed to no longer being that person.

"People make mistakes, I've made mistakes, I've judged people that made mistakes and they judge me back," Brown recently told The Daily Mail. He later added, "The mindset I was in when I was younger, it was full of arrogance like 'Yeah, I'm an a**hole like, so what fuck it, I got money.'"

Now 26-years-old, and the father of a young daughter, Brown now just wants more of his fans to know what's really in his heart.

"People talk about me being in gangs and affiliated, but they don't talk about the nice things I do like bring 5,000 sneakers to Crenshaw high-school South-Central or Campanella Park or different neighborhoods in the inner cities. Nobody cares about it unless it's glorified in the rap music."

Brown has also recently toiled long and hard to change the perception that he is a world-class womanizer. He and longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran split earlier this year after it became common knowledge that he had fathered a child with another woman behind her back.

But more recently, he has hinted that he is a changed person, someone now ready to atone for some of his biggest mistakes. Brown recently took to social media to post he has grown tired of being single and is now looking for a soulmate.

"Being single is great if you want to be a horndog, but it's boring when u want a soulmate," he wrote.

Right around that same time, Brown released the video for his hit "Sorry," a collaboration with Rick Ross that was viewed by many as an ode to Karrueche.

Brown has also infamously dated Rihanna, with the two once splitting after he physically attacked her leading to him being placed on five-years probation.
