Chiquis Rivera, Juan Angel Rivera Claim to See Jenni Rivera in Instagram Video
Regional Mexican music singer Chiquis Rivera claims to see her late mother Jenni Rivera in a video she that shared on Instagram on Dec. 7.
In the video, which was originally posted by Rivera's younger brother, Juan Angel López, a Christmas tree is visible in the Rivera household and when it is pointed out that the tree may be lacking in decorations a light appears.
Both Rivera and López claim that the light, which disappears quickly, was their mother's spirit.
"Pretty sure that was mom agreeing lol (Note: That Light was legit real)," López captioned the photo.
This is isn't the first time that Rivera or her brother have revealed feeling their mother's presence or have communicated with her.
In October, after her first concert in Anaheim, California, the 30-year-old singer revealed that she felt her mother was with her in spirit.
"I feel like my mom sent me her love through the public and the fans," she stated.
In June, López shared a long message on Instagram that described a personal encounter with his mother's spirit and revealed that she gave him a personal message to give each of his siblings, reported Latin Times
"God gave me a conversation with her and she told me that we would talk again soon. You can call me crazy, don't believe me, I don't give a crap...I know it was her. The first time I couldn't see her...This time I could...I swear if you guys could've seen her beauty...there are no words. She was more beautiful than ever," he wrote.
Since her death, Jenni Rivera has continued to remain present in the entertainment industry through a variety of efforts established by her family to keep her legacy alive.
The Rivera family has published a few memoirs, hosted tribute concerts, created a shoe collection and will be opening a museum in the iconic singer's honor.
