In his statement, he said "We always have new things that we have not announced yet. Greenberg mentioned that having the Halo series as well as Gears of War in the lineup is a sign that it has been a good year. The list goes on with the presence of "Halo Wars 2" and "Gears of War 4," something that will significantly put more exciting tag on the backward compatibility feature.

He also mentioned that their partnership with id@Xbox will bring more titles to the feature including "Cuphead," "Inside" and "Below." He said that since they are anticipating a big 2016 for the Xbox feature, they are preparing as early as 2015 for the big launching.

When the backwards compatibility was announced, it started as a small endeavor and feature that aims to invite previous Xbox 360 owners to return to the next - gen console and play their old games there. The feature basically started with titles such as "Ori and the Blind Forrest" and "Screamride" after which, the feature picked up and Microsoft added more games to it.

It was then that fans realized that the holiday season brought forth so much interesting game for the feature, which includes the "Halo 5: Guardians" and "Forza Motorsport 6."

That's mentioning few of the games that is expected to appear on the 2016 lineup. According to Greenberg, the 2016 will be a bigger year for games and they also expect it to be rather extraordinary year for their backward compatibility feature, not only on their game's lineup, but also with their game sale.
