In a new teaser just released for the upcoming anthology series "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson," the promo clearly shows that Simpson was suicidal in young Kim Kardashian's bedroom.

According to TV Line, the TV promo follows true events, which took place during the Simpson murder trial but which the public was previously not privy to. These key elements apparently played out in the bedroom of the young Kardashian, when she was just a little girl living with her father Robert Kardashian before he died.

Actor David Schwimmer plays Robert Kardashian, the famed lawyer and friend of Simpson, back in 1994. In the promo, he portrays the crucial scene with Cuba Gooding Jr., who plays Simpson in the TV show.

The series takes place following the infamous murders of Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman. Simpson was tried for the murders and subsequently acquitted in a controversial trial that would later become permanently seared into history as a gross injustice in the court of public opinion.

Some of the more famous aspects of the trial and events surrounding it were the Bronco chase, the murder glove used as a key element in the defense, and Simpson's own celebrity status as a football player and actor.

The series does not focus on the events that played out on TV, like the Bronco chase and the trial itself. Rather, it focuses on the events that the public was not aware of, including Simpson's private life during the ordeal, as well as the private lives of the people who played key roles in both the defense and the prosecution during the trial.

As Entertainment Tonight pointed out in their special video segment on the promo, the scene was actually filmed in the home that Robert Kardashian owned at the time of actual events. This, of course, gave the scene an added chill.

"Do not kill yourself in Kimmy's bedroom," Schwimmer says in the scene.
