Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi made headlines last week after claiming that she had an affair with Kanye West while he was dating Kim Kardashian. Now, the model is going back on those claims, though she is sticking with her story that she did have a sexual relationship with the rapper.

"[West] flew some friends and I out to Toronto for his two concerts in the next two days. We had sex again there. This was all before Kim Kardashian and he never spoke about her. But what I do know is that Kanye is a Romeo -- he can never be trusted," stated Ghobadi.

This differs greatly from an earlier story that first broke last week in which Ghobadi stated that she had had sex with West while he was going out with Kardashian. Furthermore, Ghobadi claimed that West had told her that his relationship with Kardashian was simply a publicity stunt.

Now, however, Ghobadi seems to be revising her story. Not only has she backtracked on her statements, but she has even attempted to convince the public that it is she who is the real victim.

"I can't believe all this publicity -- I'm having anxiety attacks. I've been out with other singers and never kissed and told. I'm not starting now. I'm not the type to talk about such things -- I've got family and friends to consider."

Despite protesting her innocence, so far the media seems to have little sympathy for the 24-year-old model. In an ironic twist, some have even speculated that she made the entire story up just to receive publicity herself. If that was the plan, it worked perfectly.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's publicity teams have both stated that Ghobadi's allegations were completely false. The news came at a particularly inopportune time for the couple, who had a baby girl over the weekend. It appears now, however, that the two superstars will be able to raise their new child in peace.

"Any woman that you're in love with or that loves you is going to command a certain amount of, you know, energy. It's actually easier to focus, in some ways," said West. "I'm the type of rock star that likes to have a girlfriend, you know? I'm the type of soul that likes to be in love and likes to be able to focus. And that inspires me."

This has been an incredibly hectic month for Kanye West. He had been expecting the birth of his first child as well as the release of his latest album, "Yeezus." Both of those events were complicated by Ghobadi's claims, and the album was leaked online before it's release.
