"Arrow" star Emily Bett Rickards recently opened up about the shocking midseason finale cliff hanger that left fans wondering if Felicity Smoak is really dead.

In the action-packed episode, which was titled "Dark Waters," Oliver (Stephen Amell) proposed to Felicity and she said yes. However, shortly thereafter, she was shot when one of Damien Darhk's (Neal McDonough) men opened fire on Oliver's limo, reports CarterMatt.

During an interview with Bello magazineRickards revealed that Felicity "is sincerely in danger."

She added that, "Felicity is right now completely not on this planet. So, it's going to be a little bit of a devastation, and it will be interesting on how it's dealt with. You have to keep in mind how strong she is, and hopefully that strength will prevail and keep her around."

According to We Got This Covered, The CW has yet to issue the full synopsis for the upcomig episode, "Blood Debts," and instead released this brief tease: "Oliver Queen seeks revenge when Arrow returns with all-new episodes, Wednesday January 20th on The CW!"
