The popular MyTEAM packs in NBA 2K14 are on sale this weekend and gamers still have time to take advantage of the 20 percent off discount.

With every special offer is a catch and this particular deal is only available for next-gen PS4 and Xbox One gamers. NBA 2K14 has enjoyed great success with the MyTEAM mode this year and gamers have loved the new classic teams and former players that have been introduced.

The team of the week sale this time around is the Phoenix Suns. While the MyTEAM pack sale is only lasting until Sunday, Suns items are discounted 30 percent until Wednesday.

In other news, 500 Diamond Durant Locker Codes will be given away on Sunday at 1 p.m. during the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indianapolis Pacers matchup. This special offer was created in order to celebrate Kevin Durant's streak of 41 straight games with 25 points. NBA 2K14 has stated to market Durant more heavily this year via locker codes and on Twitter in order to offset the LeBron James hype that they built up by placing him on the cover of the game.

Although NBA 2K14 first came out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back on Oct. 1, it did not come out on the next-gen PS4 and Xbox One game consoles until November. It was hailed as a success on both the older generation and newer generation platforms despite the vast improvements that were made on the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
