The second half of "NCIS" Season 13 will be highlighted by a two-part crossover storyline with "NCIS: New Orleans."

According to IBTimes, Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) will be featured front and center in the two episodes. The storyline finds her rushing to the aid of chef brother Luca (Tyler Ritter) after all the passengers aboard a Washington, D.C. to New Orleans flight he served are found to have been poisoned.

The "Sister City" themed episodes bring together Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his D.C. team and Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) and his New Orleans operation. The shows will air in back-to-back on Jan. 5, commencing at 8 p.m.

Later, around Valentine's Day in February, McGee (Sean Murray) struggles to find the perfect gift for Delilah (Margo Harshman) as the two plan to spend their first such holiday together under the same roof.

Meanwhile, Dr. Donald Mallard or Ducky (David McCallum) finds himself facing a dilemma far more sinister. For the first time ever, he will be called on to conduct a remote autopsy on a murdered deep sea diver where all the suspects remain contained in a dive chamber after they return to the surface.

Ducky is required to finish his work, examinations included, while all the divers -- living and deceased -- are still in the pressure-controlled chamber.

Thus far, ratings for the ongoing "NCIS" season have been consistent, leading to the show already being renewed for another season.

TVLine now also reports two new characters are expected to be added to the Season 14 cast. The two characters are slated to be series regulars, though it remains to be seen what kind of roles they will be called on to fill.
