A video of an 8-year-old boy less than thrilled to learn his family has gotten him the wrong WWE video game as a Christmas gift has gone viral.

The Daily Mail reports soon after unwrapping his gift and being told of the heartbreaking news the boy aims his wrath at pretty much everyone within screaming distance.

"You bought me 2k15 instead of 2k16," he rails at family members before he starts angrily tossing the game around the room.

Meanwhile, someone off camera can be heard explaining to him, or at least trying to, that the game was out of stock. That explanation only seems to infuriate him more, prompting a yell of "what the hmm" from as he resumes tossing the box around.

The video of his reaction was eventually shared to Twitter by a user named Mayra, who also claimed to be the boy's sister. Since sharing the 10-second-long clip Thursday night, it's been retweeted more than 23,000 times and liked more than 21,000 times. In one of the online exchanges, Mayra insisted to a commenter that her family has now taken the video back, presumably as punishment for the boy's bad behavior.

While hundreds of tweeters found the video funny, others have scolded him for his selfish reaction to the entire situation.

Over time, Mayra even got a reply from an official claiming to be a rep from WWE games, who simply weighed in, "give us a follow so we can DM, we might be able to help out."

Some Twitter users even reacted negatively to that development, arguing it sends the wrong message to young children and suggests they will be awarded for bratty behavior.

Later Mayra claimed it was all a prank on her brother for behaving so badly throughout the year and he had been "whooped" for his reaction to it.
